Rest in peace ,Keane

Didn't really know Sam Goh (aka Keane as he is known to us at the Commonwealth league) well, sad to say after playing soccer on Sundays for close to 6-7yrs we never really knew each other's real name.

Keane gave the impression that he was a real good boy next door, always trying lighting quick football moves no matter how many times it fails but he is one hell of a determined character! Each time if a goal is lost due to his fault he will always be able to somehow conjure some fantastic solo run to score the winning goal. I still remembered he scored the 1st ever bicycle kick in open play at commonwealth league!

Playing in his team of Galaticos- Figo, Raul, Giggs and Gigg's Bro aka " perm right full back" he was always willing to do the dirty work of tracking back and even though when he was suaned and scolded by his team mates he can still joke about it...just a truly good natured chap.

Reading the other earlier entries just seemed to cement him as a filial son, loyal friend and a Good young man with ambitions and aspirations.

Keane, will always be known to me as the hardest guy to man mark in commonwealth league( he runs around too much) the guy who will always come up and say hello 1st with the boyish smile.

Commonwealth League will never be the same without Keane...

Rest in Peace,

Heskey - of the "NUS" Team
